She has some very certain opinions

Star of hit movie Grease, Didi Conn, who played the part of Frenchy in the musical has spoken out about Ireland’s upcoming Eighth Amendment referendum.

The actress was speaking at NOW TV’s launch of Grease as part of the Sky Cinema pass for musical’s 40th anniversary celebration, and had her say on whether or not she believes Ireland should legalise abortion.

“I believe in a woman’s ability to choose,” Didi told VIP Magazine.

“I think that’s just the bottom line. Because children need to be wanted.

“I think that you feel it in the womb, and if god forbid there’s a rape or you have four children and they’re hungry and you can’t afford it. There’s so many horrible things that can happen that women need the choice for.

” Even just in terms of being the best moms they can be. I think a woman’s instinct to give has to be supported, and if they can’t do it, everybody will suffer.

“So yeah…definitely”
