Spencer Mathews has revealed that he wants to set a good example to his son, who is due in September.

He and Vogue Williams have had somewhat of a whirlwind relationship since they got together in January 2017.

The couple got engaged, announced that they had a baby on the way and tied the knot all in the last year.

Spencer, who recently turned 30 has revealed that getting with Vogue was a turning point in his life.

The star has now vowed to give up drink and partying hard to be a good role model for his child.

“I think you get bored. I’ve no interest in being the centre of attention that I used to love,” he told the Times.

“I want to set a better example for my unborn son, who is going to be with us soon. And my ideal night is spending it in with Vogue.”

Spencer was labelled with a bad reputation after his time on Made in Chelsea where he was allegedly unfaithful.

However, the star vows that it won’t ever happen with his new wife Vogue.

“The idea of being unfaithful would be a momentous waste of time. I wouldn’t want to do that to her. Things change.”

The dad-to-be also revealed that he found great support and comfort in his brother James, who is married to Pippa Middleton.

“My brother has been extremely kind to me in times of trouble, whether I’ve been an idiot in the press or been caught for something that I shouldn’t have been.

“He’s always stood by me. And now that I’m more mature I feel as though the time to give back to him is upon me, which is great. So we’re more similar now.”
