Síle Seoige has officially been given the all clear by her oncologist, five years after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The seasoned presenter was diagnosed with the disease when she was just 32-years-old and had to undergo a number of treatments to beat the cancer.
Luckily, she was given the all clear one year after her diagnosis, but she’s had to go for regular check ups to make sure the cancer hasn’t returned ever since.
Today, five years on from her diagnosis, Síle was given the all clear from her oncologist after a routine check up – and she was overjoyed with the news!
Taking to Twitter to share the incredible news with fans she wrote, “Hearing ‘ALL CLEAR’ from your oncologist 5 years (& a bit!) on from your cancer diagnosis, is a gorgeous moment. So happy and thankful.”
