We doubt Ryan Tubridy was expecting this when he rang up Domhnall Gleeson for an interview today!
The Star Wars actor was mid-chat with the Radio One presenter when the cab in which he was travelling collided with another vehicle.
Domhnall, ever the pro, continued their conversation, despite the undoubtedly frightening experience that had just taken place on live radio.
The flame-haired star, who was on his way to the airport in London at the time, was talking to Ryan about his famous dad Brendan when the car suddenly crashed.
In the middle of his sentence, the About Time actor suddenly gasped, ‘Woah”, prompting the concerned radio host to ask if he was okay.
“There was just a crash. We’re not speeding, we’re going at a reasonable rate,” Domhnall explained.
“I don’t want to get [the driver] in trouble, he’s an excellent driver! We’re going to the airport.”
Despite the shock, the Irish star was unfazed by the drama and carried on as if nothing had happened.
Seriously, as if we couldn’t love this guy anymore…
