Sam Smith paid a visit to the Emerald Isle last week, to record brand new music in Donegal.

The Writing’s On The Wall singer was spotted in the north of the country at Tommy McLaughlin’s iconic Attica Audio studio. Although he originally had wanted to remain quiet about his visit, fans spotted the star out and about at restaurants and pubs.

Sam posed for selfies with Irish fans, including chef of Lemon Tree restaurant in Letterkenny Christopher Molloy. He shared a pic of himself and the Grammy winner online and said, “Was great to meet singer Sam Smith. Really nice guy and loving Donegal. Had to get a wee snap.”
