They’ve announced a Dublin gig!

Following their outstanding performance at Electric Picnic Saint Sister have announced a unique headline show this November at Dublin’s Christchurch Cathedral.

The band were formed in 2014 by Morgan MacIntyre and Gemma Doherty. Their music draws from early Celtic harp traditions, 60s folk and electronic pop to create ‘atmosfolk’—a mix of soulful vocal harmonies, dreamy synth and electro-acoustic harp.

One of the band’s first gigs saw them open the stage for Arcade Fire’s Will Butler, and their debut EP ‘Madrid’, which was recorded with Alex Ryan (bassist with Hozier), was released in November 2015 on Trout Records, and was well received both in Ireland and abroad.

This sounds like a great gig!

This summer they played numerous festivals, including Electric Picnic, Longitude, Indiependence and Body & Soul.

Now, just off the back of their fantastic performance at EP, the band have announced that they’ll be taking to the stage in Christchurch Cathedral on November 5th.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday at 9am. They are €19.00 and are available from Ticketmaster.
