Rosie Connolly has shared how she plans to keep her father in her thoughts as she prepares to walk down the aisle today.
The beauty, who is set to marry her long term love Paul this afternoon, sadly lost her father when she was 18 years old, and will make sure he is a part of her big day.
Rosie shared a pictures of part of her father’s scarf, which she revealed “still smell like him”, as well as a sweet card. The mother of one will be wearing the scarf at the ceremony today.
The bride recently revealed that she would be remembering her father in a very special way throughout the ceremony.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine, she said, “We’ll have a photograph of him on the alter – well, we’re not getting married in a church but where we’ll be saying our vows, just so I can see his face and feel he’s part of the day.
“I wish my dad was still around, but instead I feel thankful for the time I did have with him, and how he shaped me and my sisters into who we are.”
Rosie’s stepdad Billy will be walking her down the aisle today.
