Pixies, alt-J, James Vincent McMorrow and more set to play series of summer gigs at Trinity College

MCD has just announced a special series of outdoor shows in College Park in the historical surroundings of Trinity College Dublin this July 6th – 11th.

The series opens on Thursday July 6th with Grammy-Award winner Gregory Porter performing his unique brand of contemporary jazz.

On Friday July 7th, one of the most popular Irish acts of recent years singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow, plays a special hometown show.

On the back of their incredible new album Arms, Bell X1 take to the stage on Saturday July 8th. The band have wowed Irish audiences over the past year, with a sold out tour and main stage performance at Electric Picnic.

No strangers to Ireland, alternative rock icons Pixies make their return on Sunday July 9th, performing their extensive catalogue of indie anthems.

On July 10th Irish indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club perform with special guests Circa Waves. The band’s new album Gameshow has received considerable critical acclaim, including a 4-star review from NME.

Closing the series on July 11th, Mercury Music Prize winners alt-J make their first Irish appearance since their acclaimed headline slot at Longitude 2015.
