Our favourite musical ‘Wicked’ is coming to Dublin

The show has won multiple awards.

Theatre fans will be delighted to hear that the massively popular musical Wicked is coming to Dublin next year.

The show will be on in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in from July 2018 for a seven week run.

Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students and their extraordinary adventures in Oz, which will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

The musical previously came to Dublin in 2013, when 130,000 people went to see it.

It will run from 17th of July 2018 to the 1st of September 2018.

Tickets go on sale Friday 30th June through Ticketmaster and cost between €25 and €72.50.

Wicked has won multiple awards including two Laurence Olivier Awards, three Tony’s and a Grammy.
