It was announced yesterday that Irish actor Michael Fassbender will be the guest of honour at this years Toronto International Film Festival, or TIFF as it’s known.
The X-Men actor will be the guest of honour at the 41st Toronto International Film Festival fundraising event. It will take place in the TIFF Bell Lightbox, in Toronto on September 7th.
The Oscar nominee is being honoured for his vast amount of acting talent, and will take part in an onstage conversation at the prestigious fundraiser. This will be followed by a rooftop cocktail party- sounds amazing!
Maxine Bailey, TIFF’s vice-president of advancement said, “A truly remarkable, chameleonic actor, Michael Fassbender brings depth, brilliance and candour to each and every role he plays and we are privileged to have him join us at Soirée this year.”
