Majella O’ Donnell has tweeted her support for Olivia Newton-John, after it was announced this morning that the Grease star is battling breast cancer.
Olivia was forced to cancel tour dates across the US and Canada due to back aches, however it has since transpired that pain is due to cancer.
A statement released by Olivia’s rep reads, “The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum.
“In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photon radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.”
Majella, who previously battled breast cancer after being diagnosed in 2013, took to social media to send well-wishes to the actress.
“Very sad to hear that Olivia Newton John has been diadonised with metastatic breast cancer in her bones. Sending you lots of love Olivia,” she wrote alongside some love-heart emojis.
