Lisa Cannon has opened up about a mortifying moment she had with Beyoncé, and it just so happens to be her dad who was to blame for the whole thing!
The Xposé presenter was given an opportunity to interview Beyoncé in New York for the launch of one of her fragrances a few years ago, and it was all going well until her dad decided to embarrass her in front of one of the world’s biggest stars.
Speaking to The Mirror, Lisa said, “I remember being intimidated as they opened the red velvet curtain and there she was, it was a gaspy moment.
“As we were waiting for the cameraman to load the tapes, I told her my dad was there and she was waving to him. It was so special.
“At the end of the interview, my dad did the unthinkable and mortified me asking her would she mind posing for some photos for him.
“I mean you can barely get a photo with a celeb, never mind get Beyoncé, the biggest star in the world do it.
“She said, ‘no problem.’ She posed for loads of pictures for him. He was adjusting the lens and I was like, ‘please, please stop, stop, enough!”
“He was clicking away for ever but he charmed the pants off her and she was so gracious.”
Typical dad, aye?
