Lidl Ireland have issued an urgent recall of a cheese product, due to allergy information not being clearly labelled.
The affected product is the Milbona Cheese Triangles XXL 533g, as they do not have the proper allergen information listed in English on the packaging.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued the following statement on their website.
“Lidl Ireland is recalling all batches which are not labelled in English of its Milbona Cheese Triangles XXL.
“The implicated batches contain egg and milk.
“This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of egg, milk or their constituents.”
The products are being recalled to Irish Lidl stores.
