The pair have revealed that they have kissed on stage while playing their respective roles and Shane joked that he doesn’t like kissing the blonde beauty!

“I hate it. I have to kiss her – I’m forced to kiss her!” he said on Good Morning Britain.

Laura also joined in on the fun and joked that she only swapped presenting for acting so that she could get close to the actor.

“That’s pretty much it.” she said. “I’ve been auditioning for EastEnders and everything and now finally I got cast with you.”

Shane quickly brought the conversation back to the plot of the play and spoke about the devastation his character faces after his wife disappears.

“Those who are familiar with the books know that my character’s wife went missing ten years ago and we don’t know if she went missing or was abducted.” he said.

The play will from shown from the 18th of April to 22nd April 2017 at Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre and tickets for the show are priced from €17.50, and are available from www.bordgaisenergytheatre.ie.
