Kerrie Harris has revealed how Robbie Brady swept her off her feet when they first started dating
The dancer and footballer have been together for seven years and have a two-year-old daughter called Halle.
The talented pair have quickly become Ireland’s new golden couple after their infamous kiss following Robbie’s winning goal against Italy in the Euros -which sent Ireland into the last 16!
The couple first started dating when they were just 17 and on their first date they met at the spire and walked hand in hand down O’Connell Street.
When the first started dating Kerrie admitted that his football star status didn’t seal the deal for her -it was his incredible personality!
“He was very quiet, but a gentleman.” she told Life magazine. “As our dates went on I kept myself busy and I was by no means chasing him.”
“Some girls might go after a guy, but it wasn’t like I always dreamed of being with a footballer.Things between us just happened very naturally, and football just happened to be his job.”
The brunette beauty went on to say that Robbie could tell she was a normal, kind hearted girl who had her own dreams from the start.
“He could tell I was a genuine, down-to-earth girl, and I had my own things going on.” she said.
“I went to college where I studied advertising and marketing, but I was still focused on dance, with dreams to one day open up my own stage school -a dream i eventually fulfilled. So I wasn’t focusing all my energy on him.”
