Pop twins John and Edward have returned to Twitter after over a year of being blocked from the site.
The Dubliners who became famous from their stint on The X Factor were banned from the social media site for copyright issues last October.
The singers took to Twitter this week to announce their return, much to Jedward fans delight.
“Hello everyone on Twitter we are so happy to be back,” the lads said in a lengthy statement.
“Life has not been the same without @PlanetJedward we are only making this notes thing because it’s so celebrity to act like people have time to read about our social media problems lol.Anyway in the time we have not had our official Twitter we have been cheating on Twitter with Instagram and Snapchat. Feels like we are returning to our ex,” they joked.
“We just feel like when you don’t have your Twitter you take it for granted not having the option to tell the world you just had the best sleep ever or just saw Santa Claus.

“Now on page 2 of notes if you made it this far you are a Jepic mofo and we love you,” the boys said, followed by a warning about what got them banned from the website.
“Just a lesson for everyone copyright is a serious offence do not upload music to your account or you will be suspended. We have missed our verified status since we were like the 1st people to tell everyone about this unknown platform in the UK and Ireland with many of our tweets making TV shows and newspapers and everyone loves some Jedward in their life.
“We were officially the OGs of Twitter.”
They added: “Wow on page 3 this is getting deep you definitely need a Jedward tattoo ASAP.
“So since everyone helped to get our Twitter back we wanna thank you and to the legend William Shatner who also went on a massive Twitter spree tweeting Twitter. There has been some major world news and things happening in the world that we have not got to tweet about so get ready.
