“It’s important for us, our kids and our fans…” Westlife to release documentary about their reunion

Westlife fans rejoice as a documentary following their recent reunion is on the way!

The group, who are embarking on their comeback tour this summer, will be performing a string of nights in Belfast’s SSE Arena and Dublin’s Croke Park.

A camera crew will be on hand to capture all the behind-the-scenes action during the tour, but it’s not been confirmed where or when the documentary will air.

Speaking to The Sun, Kian Egan said, “We knew straight away – we’ve got to capture it even if it’s just for ourselves.

“I think it’s just going to be a case of figuring out whether it’s going to be a Netflix or a Sky thing.”

Bandmate Shane Filan went on say, “We’ll document it in some way because it’s important for us and our kids and for the fans to realise how it all came back together. I think that it’s going to be magic.”

It’s been a very exciting few weeks for the band, who have not only been celebrating their reunion – but also Mark Feehily’s recent engagement.

The singer was in the Maldives with long-term love Cailean, when they announced the exciting news.

Sharing a snap of the ring on social media, Markus said, “2019 has been so amazing to me so far, and it’s only getting started. I wanted to be the first to say it…#engaged.”
