Adele King, AKA Twink has revealed she’ll be hitting our screens later this year with a new series on RTE 1.
The series will feature a look back of her most memorable career moments, but she is keeping the finer details under wraps.
“I’ve been asked not to mention it yet,” she told the Herald. “But it will be a terrific show – I think it will be marvellous television.
“I’d like to think that I’ve contributed to marvellous television myself in 57 years in show business.
“I’ve been sitting in an editing suite since last January editing footage and I’m actually losing the will to live. As wonderful and awesome as it is, Lord help me, it’s just like pulling teeth.
“So now I have to get out of the editing suite and back into the gym next week because we’re meant to be filming a pilot in May or June.”
Adele has previously worked with RTE on her 1982 show Twink, which featured songs from Irish artists and different sketches featuring herself and Jonathan Ryan.
