Irish X Factor hopefuls Sean and Conor Price take to the stage tonight for the first week of live shows, and the whole of Ireland is behind them.
There have been plenty of Irish X Factor stars over the years, but none more memorable than four time contestant Melanie McCabe.
The 24-year-old has now reveled her advice for the Wicklow twins.
“They’re so young and I was so young doing it as well. If you don’t know who you are going in there, you’ll end up being led,” Melanie told independent.ie.
“On a TV show, there’s so many things you have to do between dressing them and giving them songs to sing.
They just need to remember at the core what they are about.”
The 15 and 18-year-olds have had a rocky journey in the competition so far, with original songs going down a treat, but a weak performance at Boot Camp almost jeopardizing their place in the competition.
