Republic of Ireland soccer player Shane Long has taken to Twitter today to post the sweetest anniversary message to his wife of three years, Kayleah. Despite being busy with the European championship, the striker still remembered their special day.
Posting a collage on his social media account, Shane wrote: “Three years today since she said yes! Happy third anniversary beaut! I’ve loved every minute @KayleahLong.” How adorable? The couple married at a beautiful ceremony in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow in 2013.
The anniversary celebrations will have to be put on hold for the time being as Shane is currently training in Paris ahead of Ireland’s second Euros game against Belgium, due to take place on Saturday.
The couple have two children together, Teigan and Erin, with another one on the way. However, pregnancy isn’t stopping Kayleah from supporting her man.
Shane posted another pic on Twitter of his extended family proudly holding Ireland flags, supporting the team in Bordeaux.
