Shane Lynch has revealed how he struggled following the break-up of Boyzone in 2000.

The 40-year-old has dabbled in acting, motorsports and reality tv since the Irish boyband parted ways, but admits he found it difficult to find his way in the beginning.

“I dabbled in the occult and was dancing with the devil , and doing all sorts of negative things looking for escape from myself – I’d lost respect for myself.” he told The Irish Daily Star.

“To be honest-it was like an out of body experience.”

The iconic pop group are due to reunite this year for their 25 year anniversary tour, and Shane says he’s looking forward to having the boys back together.

“Me and the boys are like brothers and we just can’t let 25 years go unmarked. Nowadays I can look like I want – we don’t have to stick to an image – and that’s great.”

We can’t wait to see that lads back in action!
