Well it’s almost that time of year again- Eurovision! With the semi-finals just a week away a lot of fans are wondering what we can expect to see from the 2017 Irish act.

Former Hometown member Brendan Murray will take to the stage in Ukraine and perform his ballad, Dying To Try, while wearing a simple white shirt.

However, under the guidance of his manager Louis Walsh, a huge production has been organised for the young singer (complete with wind machines and hot air balloon).

In an interview with Wiwibloggs Brendan said, “Louis Walsh said to me he wanted me to look kind of innocent, like a lost boy, so I think I’m only 20, I have to look 20.

“It (the wind machine) left me wide open! It was great. I didn’t know what to expect at first – I’ve never been in front of a wind machine before while singing, but it felt cool. It felt breezy.”

Brendan will compete in the second semi-final on May 11th. All in VIP Towers wish him and the entire Irish team the very best of luck!
