There was lots of talent this year!

Glenda Gilson has spoken to VIP about her stand-out moments from the Ireland’s Got Talent auditions.

The presenter, who fronts Ireland’s Got Mór Talent along with James Kavanagh, says she saw lots of talent across the weeks.

Though she doesn’t have just one favourite, she did explain that one golden buzzer moment was particularly memorable.

“Evelyn to me is sticking out to me, obviously because she had the big moment on the first show, but also for the woman she is.

“She’s nearly 82, that voice and the song, she sang it so well!” she told VIP.

The host explained that singing isn’t the only talent Evelyn has, as she also has a real love for style!

“Also, she is a real fashionista, I’ve been to her house and it has three bedrooms of wardrobes. I can’t get over the woman.

“She’s walking around in four-inch heels!”

“She’s a great character, a great woman with a great story to tell! She is definitely one that stood out to me!”

“Sometimes on these shows you only have thirty seconds for people to stand up and listen, and I certainly think she did it!”

But that’s not all Glenda loved, the presenter found herself engrossed in all sorts of auditions!

“There were a few magicians that I was very impressed by. There were dance groups and little kids from different schools that came on and would just melt your heart.

“The gymnasts are amazing too. And then there’s the parrot!” she laughed.

Escobar the parrot got a severe case of stage fright when he was due to sing Fields of Athenry on the IGT stage.

Sadly he was too nervous to perform, maybe next year, eh?
