Each year GQ Magazine choose their 50 best-dressed men, and it seems that 2017 is the year for Irish lads, making up a 10th of the coveted list!

Taking 46th place is Dubliner Domhnall Gleeson. The magazine described his style as having “great elegance but with an unfussy effortlessness.”

37th place went to X-Factor host Dermot O’Leary. Dapper Dermot was noted as having an understanding of men’s tailoring, and whether he be in a suit or casual wear, as always looking at ease.

The Irish man taking the 22nd position on the list is Poldark star Aidan Turner. Although viewers are big fans of the actor when he is shirtless (scything scene anyone?), he also looks fantastic in a suit. GQ call him “a dream to dress.”

Awarded with 19th place is Michael Fassbender. The Irish-German man is an extremely talented actor, and always looks perfectly put together on the red carpet. What got him on GQ’s list this year was “the fit of his suits” and his “timeless style.”

Making it into the top 5 with the number 4 spot on the best-dressed list is the Notorious, Conor McGregor. Although best known for his fighting moves, Conor is a winner in the style stakes too. Whether it’s his hand-picked David August suits or his Louis Vuitton loafers, the Crumlin native knows how to turn heads.  The magazine call him a “smart guy, smart dresser and a smart arse, to boot.”
