Erin McGregor and Ryan McShane have lost their place in Dancing with the Stars, after being eliminated from the show this evening.
The pair, who have been in the dance-off four times, were sent home after competing against Jake Carter and Karen Byrne.
Erin has thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the competition, telling us, “honestly, I’ve had the time ever.”
She continued, “It’s been an amazing journey and I just want to thank everyone who picked up the phone and voted for us, and gave me an opportunity to get out there and follow my dreams and find something that was for me. Who knows what’s next?”
The Dubliner became incredibly close to her dance partner throughout the competition, and will no doubt stay in touch with Ryan.
“He definitely knew going into this competition was about a lot more than just dancing for me,” she recently told VIP Magazine.
“He gets to see the tears, the happiness – he sees what goes on behind closed doors.
“He has put a lot of work into me. He’s an extremely hard worker. He’s so passionate about his dancing. I don’t want to let him down. He’s definitely my best friend.”
We’ll be sad to see them go!
