Tickets went on sale today for Ed Sheeran’s seven Irish gigs to take place next summer.
The concerts were announced as part of the singers huge Divide world tour, and has had fans across the country beside themselves with excitement.
Lines were seen down the street in Galway as concert goers stayed out overnight to make sure they locked down tickets for the Shape of You singers stadium gigs.
So when tickets finally went on sale at 9am this morning, online and in ticketmaster outlets, there was huge interest expected. It seemed this interest was more than ever before as users were left in lenghty online queues for hours as they tried to get their hands on tickets.
Ticketmaster’s social media account were keeping hopeful fans updated and urging them to ‘not give up’ and to ‘not refresh your page’ as twitter users vented their frustrations.
