Last night saw Demi Isaac Oviawe become the fourth contestant to bow out of Dancing With The Stars Ireland.

The Young Offenders star and her partner Kai Widdrington were voted out of the competition in the first dance-off of the season, losing out to comedian Fred Cooke and his partner Giulia Dotta.

Speaking after the elimination, the 18-year-old Leaving Cert Student spoke highly about her partner.

“I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else on this journey and I want to thank you so much,” she gushed.

“I’m sorry I shouldn’t be crying… I came here to step out of my comfort zone. I wanted to prove to the country that I can be just Demi!”

The competition is now down to the final seven couples, who will be competing in next week’s Orchestra Week – alongside the RTE Concert Orchestra.

Are you sad to see Demi go?
