Yesterday Spin 1038’s Daniella Moyles and Cormac Battle embarked on the Fully Charged 27 Hour Breakfast Show, in an effort to raise funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
The presenters began their hosting duties at 6:45am yesterday morning, stayed on air all through last night, and finished up at 9:45am today.
They were joined by a number of guests in their Dundrum studio over the course of their 27 hours, including James Kavanagh, Keith Barry, Grace Mongey and even Santa!
Taking to Twitter this morning Daniella thanked fans for their support and donations, as they managed to raise a whopping €25,000 for the worthy children’s charity.
Sharing a hilarious pic she wrote, “27 hours and 25 thousand later. Thank you, thank you, thank you every single one of you who donated #FullyCharged27.”
