Model turned DJ Daniella Moyles is currently loving life as a host on Spin 1038’s popular morning programme Fully Charged. She’s also traveling the world one destination at a time as part of her blog The Travel Two, with best pal Martin Gaughan.

Things haven’t always been easy for the Kildare native however, as she recently broke-up with her longterm boyfriend, 98FM DJ Dara Quilty, who she was with for five years.

Despite not wanting to speak publicly about the split at the time, the stunning 27-year-old has now opened up about the details. In an exclusive interview in this month’s VIP Magazine, Daniella says that herself and Dara are still friends, and that he’s been a very positive impact on her life.

“I literally adore him. He’s one of my favourite people on the planet. We were together for five years and we’re still really good friends, which is amazing. He has had, without a doubt, the most positive impact on my life,” she said.

Free spirit Daniella also revealed that herself and her former love had reached a crossroads in their relationship when they went their separate ways. It was between settling down together or not, and they simply weren’t ready for forever just yet.

“I think love and your partner are really important and can dictate the quality of your life and the experiences you have. It’s not something I take lightly. I don’t want to be like, ‘Oh you’ve been around for ages so let’s do this.’

“Myself and Dara had been together for so long that we were probably at that crossroads. It was like: ‘This is forever or it isn’t.’ I don’t know how things will end up, but maybe there was a wilderness in me that I wasn’t able to give up just yet,” she said.
