Conor McGregor’s mother Margaret has shared a touching tribute to her son as he celebrates his 30th birthday.
The Notorious, who is currently in training for his UFC comeback, will be keeping birthday celebrations low key this year, despite being known to throw extravagant birthday bashes for himself and his family.
Taking to Instagram, Margaret gushed about her love for her son, and how proud she is of the MMA champion.
“This time 30 years ago u enter the World,” she posted along with a sweet throwback picture.
“You were born but you’re two- hands like a boxer I remember the midwife saying to me this baby is going to be a fighter you are 10 lb 9 oz I was in bits after having you I was only about eight stone I was delighted you were my first baby boy.
Little did I know that you were going to be double World champ.
“I’m extremely proud of you your achievements as a fighter and as a son and a brother and a father u are so generous to me your dad and your sisters your niece Taylor and nephew Harry I can put into words how much I love you so happy birthday son.”
According to The Star, the Notorious is laying low and keeping celebrations to a minimum due to his upcoming court case in New York.
“No big bash. Maybe dinner with his family but there hasn’t been any big party planned.” a source told the paper.
