The nominations for this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards have been announced and each category has a stellar line up.

The categories include Comedy, Irish soap and Documentary Series with shows such as Red Rock, Bridget and Eamon and Mrs. Browns Boys leading the way with nominations.

We already know that Pat Kenny will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s ceremony, and that Vogue Williams, Darren Kennedy, Al Porter, Angela Scanlon, Kevin McGahern, and Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghail will be battling it out for the TV Rising Star Award.
