Two young children have sent Irish soccer player Seamus Coleman an adorable message. The Ireland captain suffered an injury last Friday while playing against Wales in the Aviva Stadium, and recently underwent surgery to repair the damage.
Two boys, Reece and Cody Kenny, have now wished the sports star a speedy recovery in the sweetest way. The boys’ mum Michelle sent the note into 2FM who shared it on their social media accounts.
The letter read, “To Seamus, I love you. You are the best soccer player. My brother and I met you last Thursday the day before the Wales match.
“You were so kind and friendly to us. You are our hero. We were at the match and we are so sad for you that your bones are broken.
“We hope you get better really soon. Love from Reece Kenny (5) and my brother Cody (7) from Offaly.”
We want to echo the sentiments of the two lads and wish Seamus a speedy recovery.
