RTE’s Bridget and Eamon is hitting screens across the United States. However, there will be one thing extra- subtitles!

The hilarious show, created by Breakfast Republic presenters Bernard O’Shea and Jennifer Zamparelli, is now available on streaming site, Hulu.

Although it has been well received across the pond, some viewers have been forced to use the subtitle option because they couldn’t understand the Irish accents!

Speaking to the Herald Jennifer (aka Bridget) said, “I’ve been getting tweets from people saying, ‘I had to turn on the subtitles.’

“It’s amazing. We don’t care if they put it into a bottle and send it to America, we just want to get the introduction over there, it’s great.

“Look at Mrs Brown’s Boys and the success of that? So I think I kind of knew it could (do well outside Ireland),” she said.

Congratulations to all involved at the show, this is a huge step!
