Brendan O’Carroll has opened up about a very worrying health scare.
Just hours after filming the Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas special in Glasgow, the Dubliner was rushed to hospital with fears he was having a heart attack.
Speaking about the terrifying moment, Brendan said, “I thought I was having a heart attack. I had this bug and at about 2am I had to wake Jenny up.”
He told the Irish Mirror, “It was all going on. I had the fright of my life. I thought I was a goner.
“When I got in the ambulance they said, ‘well it’s not your heart.’ I vomited it out for 12 hours. I had a very violent bug.”
We’re glad to hear he’s doing better now.
