Boots Ireland has recalled two soother products after a health and safety concern.
The soothers have been identified as having a malfunction “which might cause a small tear in the silicone teat”.
Anyone who has bought these products are urged to return them straight away.
“The health and safety of our customers and patients is always our highest priority,” said a spokeswoman for Boots.
“We are asking customers to return these products to our stores immediately for a refund or replacement with a similar item.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and would like to offer our reassurances that as soon as the fault was identified as part of our quality control process we immediately removed these lines from sale.
“No other products are affected.”
