All Ireland weekend is upon us! Dublin and Mayo fans all over the country are gearing up to see their team take to the pitch in Croke Park, to demonstrate their sporting skills in an effort to take home the Sam Maguire cup.
Most are discussing team formations, plays and past performances. However, here in VIP Towers, while we admire their skill, we decided to acknowledge the GAA lads in a slightly different way.
Although Dublin and Mayo have proven themselves to be the best team’s in the land this year, both teams have already won over the hearts of many with the extreme good looks of their players- the training regimes are paying off in more ways than one!
Here we’ve rounded up our top five GAA hunks from either side, and it was a tough choice narrowing it down.
For the boys in blue…
1. Bernard Brogan
What would a list of GAA hunks be without Bernard Brogan. On the pitch and off, he’s hot stuff.
2. Cian O’Sullivan
The defender breaks through potential goal scorers like he broke through the hearts of many when they realised he’s in a committed relationship with the lovely Danielle Byrne.
3. Diarmuid Connolly
The forward is always good for a score in our eyes!
4. Jonny Cooper
The 26-year-old storms the pitch and looks great in blue.
5. Paul Flynn
The four-time All Star winner races the length and breath of the pitch- and send hearts racing!
And on the Mayo side…
1. Aidan O’Shea
All you have to do is check out the many AIB posters across the country to realise why this full forward made our list.
2. Cillian O’Connor
The teacher can school us any day!
3. Chris Barrett
This Belmullet man certainly rings our bell!
4. Lee Keegan
Pace, strength and scoring ability- need we say more.
5. Tom Parsons
It’s his legs that allow him to cover the midfield, but those arms deserve some praise.
