Simon Delaney has revealed that he would love to make a return to Coronation Street after his appearance in the soap last summer.
The funnyman had a role in Weatherfield back in June of last year, and although his character made just brief appearance, the episode went down very well with fans of the show!
Now, the father of four reveals that he would be up for taking the trip back to Manchester if the opportunity arose!
“I’d love to go back and do some more Corrie,” the Weekend AM presenter told VIP Magazine.
“But that’s up to the producers and writers! I’d love to go back and do Corrie mainly because it’s about 150 yards from Old Trafford so I can go and see United play regularly!
“It was such a nice gang of people, such a nice cast and crew. And Manchester is a great place to work, the home of my beloved MUFC.”
Simon has been announced as the ambassador of One4All’s magical Christmas Wishes campaign, in which he will grant three lucky Irish people their wishes just in time for Christmas!
