Johnny Sexton has welcomed baby number two, as his wife Laura gave birth to a little girl, reportedly named Amy, on Monday.
The couple already have a son named Luca, who’s surely delighted to have a little sister.
Irish kicking coach Richie Murphy broke the news of her arrival during a press conference yesterday evening.
“[He’s] very happy, obviously because his wife had a baby girl yesterday,” he said.
The couple, who are both aged 30, wed in a lavish ceremony in Adare Manor in 2013.
The news comes shortly after his rugby team mate Paul O’Connell announced his retirement from the sport.
