Arcade Fire performed at Malahide Castle last night as part of their Everything Now tour, but had a second show very soon afterwards.

Following the massive outdoor concert, the rock band turned up at Whelan’s on Wexford Street for a more intimate gig.

Earlier that day the band sent fans on a treasure hunt to find fake ‘Creature Comfort’ cereal boxes around the city.

Anyone lucky enough to find the valuable cereal boxes could get into the after party.

It was only after the Malahide Castle concert, that lead singer Win Butler told fans that the afterparty was in Whelan’s.

Fans who made it to Whelan’s were treated to an acoustic session from the band followed by a DJ set from lead Win Butler.

Many people took to social media to share their pictures and videos of the incredible night.
