Aoibhin Garrihy has spoken out about how her new husband feels about the Dancing with the Stars romance ‘curse’.
The former Fair City actress tied the knot to long time love John Burke back in September, and she’s revealed he’s not worried about the romance ‘curse’ that surrounds most dance shows and he’s given her his full support.
“What I do is just a job and John is so supportive.” she told the Irish Mirror.
“There’s always a professionalism there and I would never be concerned with that kind of scepticism.”
The blonde beauty went on to say that she thinks taking part in the show will enhance her CV and can only be positive for her career.
“For me this is a really positive thing and it’s about learning a new skill and earning another string to my bow.” she said.
“At auditions you get asked things like can you ride a horse, can you sing or can you dance – so that’s a big part of it too.
“This can’t be anything but a positive experience. I’m enjoying it already.”
