More amazing news for Electric Picnic ticket holders as yet another amazing act has been added to this year’s EP line-up.
Eighties pop queens Bananarama were added to the Throwback Party stage just last week, and now it’s been announced that 90’s dance group Snap! will be gracing that stage too.
The German band responsible for the absolute tune that is Rhythm is a Dancer will play the picnic on Sunday night.
Snap! band members Penny Ford and Jesse Kolb said that the festival organisers “were looking for the ultimate floor-filler to close their Throwback Party. They knew Snap had the answer…Rhythmn is a Dancer! Believe the hype. We’re bringing the power!”
A dance-off ring has also been added to the Throwback Party, where festival-goers will be given 60 seconds of a throwback song to show off all the moves they’ve got, how cool?
There will also be some classic movies such as The Goonies and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off played, for when you’re all danced out.
It just keeps getting better!
