Aisling O’Loughlin has admitted that although she really enjoys her job, it’s definitely not the road to go down if you want to make the big bucks.
The Xposé presenter has spoken out saying TV3 don’t pay her particularly well, but she loves how different every day is as a presenter on Xposé.
She said to the Diary, “TV has been brilliant to me. It’s a varied life and that’s what I like about it. The money may not be great but it’s a very varied life.
“We’re definitely not overpaid on Xposé, that’s for sure, but at least we have an interesting job.
“I think it’s RTE who get the big bucks.”
The seasoned tv star, who has recently given birth to her third child, admits that after working in showbiz journalism for such a long time, she’d find it difficult to transition to hard news reporting.
She said, “I don’t think I would ever go back to serious news. I don’t know if you can after doing a show like Xposé.
“You have to be very straight when you’re doing news. What I have enjoyed about Xposé is that you can be as creative as possible”
We can’t wait for Aisling to return to our screens later this year!
