Brows trends are something that change over the decades and at the moment, it’s all about bigger, more defined brows.

Whether that’s fluffier bushier brows, or a sleek sculpted look, thicker is generally better right now.

This wasn’t always the case though, we all remember the time not so long ago when skinny pencilled eyebrows were all the rage.

Professional Makeup artist Aimee Connolly shared makeup tips and tricks with us and revealed there is one thing we are all doing wrong when it comes to brows.

“I think some people get used to doing a trend and stick to it,” she explained.

“When brows came into play everyone was delighted and they were really defining their eyebrows.”

Aimee explained that makeup lovers generally tend to get carried away and even overdo it.

“Then people get used to that and start thinking they want more and when they go more, it’s too heavy.

“That way you lose the natural sense of yourself. Obviously, makeup is not natural but it should still look like you, I think.”

So next time you’re doing your brows, stop take a step back and have a look in the mirror.

Do you really need to keep drawing, brushing and shaping those brows? Or do they look like an enhanced version of your own brows?

At a recent shoot for STELLAR Magazine, Aimee revealed the product she’s currently using.

“I have benefit Ka Brow in my brows in shade 3, It’s great because it doesn’t anywhere!”
